IN-OFFICE SURGERY

What does in-office surgery entail for a family doctor?

As a family doctor, we are trained to perform many procedures in the office. As a result of living in a rural area, Dr. Erikson performs many procedures that doctors in other parts of the country might not be comfortable performing. That's a good thing for your travel time and your wallet.

Some of the in-office surgeries we perform at our family practice are:

  • Cryosurgery
  • Ingrown toenails
  • Laceration repair (stitches)
  • Joint aspiration (draining)
  • Evaluation and removal of moles
  • Skin biopsies
  • Skin-tag removal
  • Foreign body removal from ears/nose/skin
  • Drainage of boils or abscesses
  • Injections
  • Treatment of warts
